Donegal retakes its proper place on the map of contemporary Ireland. Cut off from the rest of the Republic, and ignored by Dublin, the county has long lived with a sense of : Patrick Loughrey. Rare book returns to Donegal library - over 80 years after it was borrowed. A rare book has been returned to an Irish library – 82 years after it was borrowed.
The White Owl was first taken out of the public library in Gaoth Dobhair, Co Donegal, in A book borrowed from an Irish library has been returned more than 80 years after it was due to be taken back.
